My daughter is 2, so she doesn’t yet understand the concept of time. I use a visual timer to make time concrete for her, and it has helped a lot. I also meet her needs while keeping clear boundaries offering what she wants within limits that work for us. In this case, the limit was time, which is the Montessori middle solution.
