2026年2月5日に、東京都稲城市のよみうりランド遊園地内にオープンする「ポケモン」初の屋外常設施設「ポケパーク カントー」のメディア向け先行内覧会が1月26日に行われた。

問題のゲームは、現在Androidなどで配信されています。「ポケモン」という単語こそ入っていないもののアイコンはミュウツーで、プロモーション画像にはイーブイ、ヒトカゲ、カメックスなど見たことのあるキャラクターばかり。トレーナーの姿なども“まんま”で、これでは「ポケモン風」ではなく、そのまま「ポケモン」です。
