4人目の日本人ヒーローとなるミズキは、当初の開発コードネームが「河童」であり、開発チーム内では今でもそう呼ばれています。他の日本人ヒーロー（ゲンジ、ハンゾー、キリコ）との差別化を図るため、あえて「壁登り」のスキルを持たせず、代わりに鎖鎌やワープによる独自の移動方法が採用されました。快気の傘とパッシブによる回復を味方に与えつつ、呪縛と形代による妨害と撹乱も同時にできるマルチタスクなヒーローです。
